There are may different methodologies as to the best way to develop software. Best practices of software development have emerged only in the last few years (late 2000’s).

Depending on the size, nature, and budget of your project, I will either do the development myself or manage one or more other developers.

I subscribe to a hybrid of old-school and agile. I like to plan as much as possible before coding begins, and then use small iterations and frequent client feedback sessions to stay on track.

I use a number of online tools to organize and manage collaborative efforts between remote parties.
